  • BlueDriver Tool Review -EricTheCarGuy

    2019-01-29

BlueDriver $99.95US Link to site: The BlueDriver from Lemur is a scan tool app that uses a blue tooth interface to communicate with your OBDII vehicle. It has many on board features that allow you to read codes, file repair reports, do a quick smog check, or view live data. You can also read ABS codes for most domestic makes. Not long ago I did a review on the Actron from OTC, I think this tool is comparable to that tool. They both have similar features with the exception that the BlueDriver does not require additional software to be purchased a la carte. This ability gives this tool something of an edge when it comes to price however it does not do everything the Actron does. Before you say 'Torque app', I'm aware of it, I just haven't reviewed it. • How To Remove / Change / Replace Airbag (On Steering Wheel) For 2003-2007 Honda Accord

    2019-01-29

In this video, young mechanic Aiman will show you step by step tutorial or guide on how to remove, change or replace the steering wheel airbag on a 2004 Honda Accord (which is the same for a 2003, 2005, 2006 & 2007 Accord DX LX EX model) and should be very similar in techniques and process for Acuras and other Honda models such as Civic, CRV, Element, Pilot, Odyssey etc.. Even if you're not replacing the airbag, this step is necessary if or when you want to remove or replace the steering wheel and/or the clock spring assembly. Word of caution is make sure you disconnect the battery first, wait a few minutes (20 minutes or longer is highly encouraged), and avoid possible static discharge via clothing or other possible methods. The process is actually quite simple and painless. However, if you're not comfortable DIY or doing it yourself, then consult professional mechanic or certified repair garage. Once you unplug the airbag itself, it can't go off. There's a shorting bar built into the connector of all airbags, that joins the two terminals to prevent "stray" voltage from being able to set the bag off. However, that being said, don't allow any strong static discharges around the bag with it unplugged from the car. Disconnect the battery, wait 3 to 5 minutes. You need to remove the connector cover at the bottom of the wheel, unplug the airbag. There's 2 T30 Torx screws that hold the bag into the wheel. (from each side) The switches should be accessible from that point. Do NOT connect the battery or turn the key on with the bag removed. Once assembled, hook up battery, and turn key on, watching airbag light. It should shut off as normal. • Air Diffusion Systems Drinking Water Installation @ East Fork Lake - Olney, IL

    2019-01-29

Air Diffusion Systems Installed 11 "LTC" fine bubble disk diffusers at East Fork Lake in November of 2009. East Fork Lake has been using potassium permanganate and other chemicals in the past to correct issues with iron, manganese, odor, taste, and clarity of the drinking water. The ADS fine bubble aeration will help to naturally correct these problems by gently mixing and oxygenating the entire water column, reducing the end use of chemicals.

  • What is CHEMICAL TANKER? What does CHEMICAL TANKER mean? CHEMICAL TANKER meaning & explanation

    2019-01-29

What is CHEMICAL TANKER? What does CHEMICAL TANKER mean? CHEMICAL TANKER meaning - CHEMICAL TANKER definition - CHEMICAL TANKER explanation. Source: Wikipedia.org article, adapted under license. A chemical tanker is a type of tanker ship designed to transport chemicals in bulk. As defined in MARPOL Annex II, chemical tanker means a ship constructed or adapted for carrying in bulk any liquid product listed in chapter 17 of the International Bulk Chemical Code. As well as industrial chemicals and clean petroleum products, such ships also often carry other types of sensitive cargo which require a high standard of tank cleaning, such as palm oil, vegetable oils, tallow, caustic soda, and methanol. Oceangoing chemical tankers range from 5,000 tonnes deadweight (DWT) to 35,000 DWT in size, which is smaller than the average size of other tanker types due to the specialized nature of their cargo and the size restrictions of the port terminals where they call to load and discharge. Chemical tankers normally have a series of separate cargo tanks which are either coated with specialized coatings such as phenolic epoxy or zinc paint, or made from stainless steel. The coating or cargo tank material determines what types of cargo a particular tank can carry: stainless steel tanks are required for aggressive acid cargoes such as sulfuric and phosphoric acid, while 'easier' cargoes — such as vegetable oil — can be carried in epoxy coated tanks. The coating or tank material also influences how quickly tanks can be cleaned. Typically, ships with stainless steel tanks can carry a wider range of cargoes and can clean more quickly between one cargo and another, which justifies the additional cost of their construction. Chemical tankers often have a system for tank heating in order to maintain the viscosity of certain cargoes, typically by passing pressurized steam through stainless steel 'heating coils' in the cargo tanks, transferring heat into the cargo which circulates in the tank by convection. All modern chemical tankers feature double hull construction and most have one hydraulically driven, submerged cargo pump for each tank with independent piping, which means that each tank can load a separate cargo without any mixing. Consequently, many oceangoing chemical tankers may carry numerous different grades of cargo on the same voyage, often loading and discharging these "parcels" at different ports or terminals. This means that the scheduling, stowage planning and operation of such ships requires a high level of coordination and specialist knowledge, both at sea and on shore. Tank cleaning after discharging cargo is a very important aspect of chemical tanker operations, because tanks which are not properly cleaned of all cargo residue can adversely affect the purity of the next cargo loaded. Before tanks are cleaned, they must be properly ventilated and checked to be free of potentially explosive gases. Chemical tankers usually have transverse stiffeners on deck rather than inside the cargo tanks, in order to make the tank walls smooth and thus easier to clean using permanently fitted tank cleaning machines. Cargo tanks, either empty or filled, are normally protected against explosion by inert gas blankets. Often nitrogen is the inert gas used, supplied either from portable gas bottles or a Nitrogen generator. Most new chemical tankers are built by shipbuilders in Japan, Korea or China, with other builders in Turkey, Italy, Germany and Poland. Japanese shipbuilders now account for the large majority of stainless steel chemical tankers built, as welding stainless steel to the accuracy required for cargo tank construction is a skill which is difficult to acquire. Notable major chemical tanker operators include Stolt-Nielsen, Odfjell, Tokyo Marine and Team Tankers. Charterers, the end users of the ships, include oil majors, industrial consumers and specialist chemical companies.

  • Granite, Marble, & Other Natural Stone Do's and Don'ts | Marble.com

    2019-01-29

Here's a handy list of do's and don'ts that we've come up with for granite countertop owners. DO clean your granite countertops daily. It will require less effort in the long term and if any spills happened while you were out it will help you spot them faster. DON'T use products containing ammonia, bleach, or any other product that is not specifically intended for use on natural stone. While these agents may not damage the stone itself, they will deteriorate the sealer more quickly. Some may also cause a film to build up on the surface, making it appear dull and and greasy. DON'T ever put drain or toilet cleaners on the countertop. The chemicals in these products can permanently stain and discolor the stone. DO use coasters for drinks. Especially on marble surfaces, which even when perfectly sealed, can still etch from acidic liquids. DON'T let spills sit on your countertop for extended periods of time. The longer they are on the surface, the higher the chance for them to penetrate into the stone, leaving permanent damage. DO blot spills instead of wiping as it won't spread the spill any farther. DON'T worry if a stain develops. It can be removed by a simple, effective and inexpensive process. DO use a cutting board when preparing food. Even though granite's surface is hard and unlikely to scratch, it can happen. Also, cutting directly on granite will cause your knives to dull quickly. DON'T ignore your granite's maintenance. Natural stone countertops are very durable and made to last a lifetime but need to be taken care of periodically to retain their beautiful appearance. And finally DO enjoy your countertops. With proper care they will provide decades of elegance and practicality. Now that you know granite do's and don't, you should also learn how to clean and seal your countertops, too. --- Visit our website: Check out our new video site: Subscribe to Marble.com TV Channel: Like us on Facebook: Follow us on Instagram: Follow us on Twitter: Follow us on Pinterest: Buy stone care products from MrStone.com: Subscribe to Granite Shorts: Watch our Featured Videos Watch our Featured Videos from MrStone.com: --- Marble.com would like to thank you for watching our video and please feel free to leave comments.
